This must be my favorite picture. The view of the canyon is simply spectacular. At the lower left is Cedar Ridge. You can see quite a few people here as this is the recommended stopping point for anyone making a day hike. There is a primative restroom facility that you can see near the lower right. The large rock formation in the middle is O'Neill Butte. This landmark can be seen for at least 4 miles of the trail. You can see the trail sloping to the right with one switchback. Following the trail to the right you can see it turns from reddish to white. This was my ending point on my trail run.
